Teeth diastema, or the gap between teeth, is a common condition in children and adults. Spaces can occur anywhere in the mouth but are most noticeable if they are between the upper teeth. Although this condition is usually harmless and usually does not require treatment for medical reasons, some patients may not like the appearance and seek cosmetic procedures to close the gap. There are several causes of teeth diastema that we will investigate in this article.
